Cadence President John Patton
Presents to International PMs at 2007 Project
Management Congress of Central America (Il Congreso
Centroamericano de Administration de Proyectos)
San José,
Costa Rica
(September, 2007)
Cadence
president and CEO John Patton delivered the pitfalls
and best practices of virtual project teams today at
the 2007 Project Management Congress of Central
America and the Caribbean. Patton’s speech,
“Effective Virtual Team Communication: Enabling a
Common Practice for Complete Project Conversation,”
was particularly appropriate for the 250
international attendees from 11 countries.
“Latin America has been a true laboratory for
showing off the best that Project Management has to
offer,” said Patton. “A virtual team is standard
operation for organizations in this part of the
world. We’re proud to contribute, and to bring some
new thinking to this discussion.”
This year’s congress played host to over 450
attendees, making it one of the largest gatherings
for project management professionals in Latin
America. For more information on the event (Spanish
