Platform
Notes
While
Cadence is only supporting ProjectMaster as installed on Windows 98, NT4.0
(Service Pack 5), Windows 2000 and XP, We have done some limited testing in other
environments. Our results follow.
Windows
NT 4.0 Terminal Server
- Run
Setup from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel
- Select
All Users for installation
- Install
Visio Setup
- Setup
will prompt you to reboot after installing the Visio Service Pack
After
rebooting, the system will continue with the installation/update. Our
installation did not require a second reboot
Issues
The
Terminal Server Licensing Service may have issues which prevent users
from logging on. The resolution is fairly simple: in Control Panel,
Services, select Terminal Server Licensing and stop the
service. Set Startup to Disabled. It's important to note
that disabling the Licensing service stops the monitoring of license
compliance.
At this
time, Cadence has no plan to release ProjectMaster for any operating
system platform other than Microsoft Windows.
